MARINER Silt Barriers

Based on our comprehensive experience with other marine containment systems, The Mariner Group has recently been invited to develop a new generation of Silt Barriers, to contain silt during dredging operations, as well as more permanently at dumping grounds.

The Mariner Group has teamed up with RECO A/S in Norway, a company that possesses substantial knowledge and experience from the welding of relevant materials.

The Mariner Group has subsequently developed our own range of Silt Barriers, known as the MARINER Silt Barriers™. These barriers have got several enhanced features compared with those already on the market, where particular emphasis has been put on durability during harsh environmental conditions, combined with easy maintenance and repair. One of the options available to the client is therefore to get a barrier with a replaceable skirt, which is a great advantage when deployed over extended periods of time. The barriers have also got several anchor options, both on top and bottom.
